-just anything and everything
the most touching part of the whole trip was when we were about to go on for ahuroa. mevina gave a really touching speech that touched me. he was talking about how we should picture the people that we wanted there that couldnt be there. imagine that those people you loved were sitting in the sudience watching you. from that moment, my brother in iraq, my stepdad, my cousin, my mom, my brother and sister were all there watching me. and they were all sso proud of mee. it was so deep. you could feel the mana within everyone. it was beautiful.
ill admit i missed home and i missed my family. the first time i called my mom from the island, it hurt me. knowing she wasnt there to share such a beautiful experience with me. and my brother had called to talk to me but he missed me. knowing he is still no matter how far away he is keeps me alive. he is the reason i strive to be myself. he always knows whats best for me and what to do and i lovve him so much. but tahiti was basically another kairos. the only difference was there were people that i loved and people that i would grow to love and people i would love more as the days went on. tahiti just made me realize that everything i have is so much more than i need. all i need is my family, my friends, and the big man upstairs. other than that, everything else are wants.
it was definately a vacation that i needed. to look around and see what is good in life. to appreciate the beauty of the world. to look around and breath. no stress. nothing. content in the context of where i was.
i cant wait to go back with everyone. even though it might be another billion years. and people will change. and nothing will ever be what it was like during this trip. but knowing that this trip was the trip i was on and was lucky enough to experince it makes me happy.
haha if only tahiti was really kairos. 'we adore 24!' haha
i love you all and thanks for such an amazing experience :]]]]
